Wee Willow...

Posted by Krazy Kat on August 27, 2001, at 19:55:07

I'm going to go to sleep soon, but will you come out and play soon? I thought of you at the fair this weekend when we passed the World's Largest Rodent tent. I've always wanted to go in, but have never had the gumption. I bet you would...

Dreamer

Are you referring to Krazy Kat or me? I do have a tendency to pout, but I only wrinkle when on mirapex or Kazoo neglects me. So you can't be referring to myself, or has Kazoo forgotten me?

Well if sleeping beauty arises in the next few hours come chat. I'm all alone.

Read K is recovering from a sinus infection and we know what big babies men are, so we probably won't hear for several more weeks.

Now me when I've had a sinus problems I've taken to the sauna. A good hot sauna helps almost anything. But unfortunately I don't believe on this side of the ocean anyone knows how to stoke a good sauna to get the steam going. Poor K! This mother chick waits for her lost one to return with open wings.

Just a 1,000,000?
The PowerBall Lottery here in the States was 290,000,000!
"Hope" used to spring eternal ... now greed does. Oink! Oink!

Needless to say (which is redundant to say), I didn't win.

Okay I'm slow, I admit it! When I originally read this I thought Krazy Kat was telling Kingfish that Wee Willow was her alter ego.

So it took me two days to figure it out. So? Now why would you go and change your name? Now I want one. Hmmm ...

I'll FedEx you a quarter, or is it still a dime to use a phone in the states. Anytime you need a shoulder to cry on please use mine.

How can I what? Need you ask? How can I let you forget ME. I am content when you say such sweet things to me. I'm not hard to please. Put your silver dollars in a tin cup. They'll give you more pleasure than a lottery wining, without any misery.

Play a hand of cards with me I'll make it tough, and then when I let you win you'll be so happy you'll think you won the lottery.

Is that a fact, my dear?

How is it said? "Lucky at cards ... unlucky at love." Is that the way it goes? Or is it the other way around, I can't remember.

I play a mean "SetBack" and "NineFive," my dear, and can beat the pants off of anybody. I'm also quite good at "Canasta" and "Pinocle." I won 5 Grand at a Canasta game once and was lucky to get out alive.

Yes, it is. I was taught by the best poker players and add a mathematical mind. Like I said I'll make it tough and then let you win. What is the saying "smile and the world smiles with you?"

>"Lucky at cards ... unlucky at love."
We all inadvertantly have chosen our vices. The true card player's love is the game. So I guess the player wins?

>I won 5 Grand at a Canasta game once and was lucky to get out alive.

So Canasta it is, any variation and I'm game. Though I've never understood mens need to throw money into the game. I will have to sit on this a while to see what I am willing to wager. You never know with women they have been known to change their minds and I may decide not to let you win.

> (a care-free) kazoo
Now why do I suspect that that easy smile may not remain if I don't let you win. Hmph, I guess it is true that you can't have your cake and eat it too!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The rate went up several weeks ago. When it was 25 cents, you had a 3 minute limit. After 3 minutes, you had to plunk in another quarter. With 50 cents, however, you can talk until the cows come home (unlimited). But, if you read the policy statements on the opening pages of *any* phone book it clearly states that anyone using a public phone cannot stay on that particular pay station for more than 3 minutes. So here is a communications company raising the rate by 100 percent for "unlimited" usage, but their policy states otherwise. I once threw someone off a public phone using the 3-minute rule. I attacked them with the Manhattan directory.

> cheap bastards.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
No, cheapness had nothing to do with it ... GREED had everything to do with it.

> and stamps are what, $0.33?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Where have you been because stamps have been 34 cents for the past year.

I just got my electric bill and nearly fainted. Northeast Utilities socked me with a "fuel adjustment cost" from last March and the bill is 36 percent higher than last month.

This is just the beginning, I afraid.

Prepare yourselves for the revolution: The "Haves" v. The "Have-Nots"

Protest.

Write those lackies in Congress for your state to GET OFF THEIR HANDS and do something.

Don't get me started on this crap.

And don't forget that the CEO of Lilly made 100 million last year for his salary.

And he's probably the one using the slugs at telephone pay stations along the New Jersey Turnpike.
