Dumbell! That's "your" kind attention, and stop being so patronizing with this "kind" baloney.

Congratulations, Kazoo!

You are now officially crazy. (You're not crazy when you talk to yourself--only when you answer back.) I hope that this diagnosis entitles you to extra benefits.

Also, I'm glad to see that your liver is still functioning--its bile production seems unimpaired. I'm just sorry to see its direction change; the UConn mds seemed so deserving! Your intact sense of humor (however bizarre) is a hopeful sign, too; if I'm remembering correctly, liver failure is pure hell on one's disposition.

Seriously, how are things with you? Were you able to get Interferon someplace? I thought of you when I read someplace (fuzzy about where) that some are adding ADs to all Interferon tx--another giant leap toward the obvious.

Take care---medlib

Why, thank you, and I did get a dollar off my next purchase at Taco Bell.

As far as the HCV goes, who knows? UCONN officially terminated my patient-ness on March 1, 2001 when they claimed I was late for a couple of appointments in the last 16 years, and this was contrary to their NEVER-BE-LATE-OR-DIE policy. The doctor who was treating me was an asshole anyway, so it was no big loss, trust me. Besides, my liver is currently vacationing in Rio, and may never come back (according to the postcards).

I was denied the INTERFERON treatment because they said it would induce psychosis - knowing me, how would they know this?

The current horror is this lousy, insulin resistant diabetes which is out of control even with glyburide and glucophage. The problem, as I'm sure you can see, is that these drugs wreck the liver to begin with, so I figure I'm doomed so why fret about it. So I laugh. I'll be the happiest corpse in the coffin.

Thank you for asking about my state of being. I appreciate your concern. Not many are.

Official Pronouncement ...

Please accept my apologies. When I suggested that you were morgue hopping I was referring to chasing the opposite sex, (from your referal to dating a corpse.) I wasn't aware that you were ill. : (

Who is Cyndi? Here's a link to some of her lyrics that she sings. She usually has an upeat beat. http://web.ukonline.co.uk/rob.terry/cyndi/lyrics.html

You talk of sweeties bashful sweeties
I've got ine of those
Oh he's hansome as can be
But he worries me

He goesn tou college
And gathers knowledge
Oo, what that boy knows
He's up in his Latin and Greek
But in his Chicin' he's weak cause,
When i want some lovin'
And gotta have some lovin'
He says please stop it please
He's so unusual.....

My dearest, why should you apologize? There's no need for this. You are a flower in a sea of weeds.

And don't be sad. I will not permit it! I prohibit you from being sad! There's too much of this going around, and it was about time it was kicked out.

As far as being ill? Well, we're all ill in one way or another, some more than most, but regardless, all are equally important to those suffering.

There's no need to explain your colorful way of putting things. I enjoy it. You, too, my dear, are an asset to this group.
