Okay, so I know that it often happens that people start to have intimate feelings for their therapist. I am also new here, so no doubt this has come up, but...
That Dr. Bob....WOW. But seriously could he be a better guy? I am sure you can all hear me when I say that his altruism in maintaining this site is modern heroism. And then there is that whole brilliance thing. Nietzsche. Poetry. Jazz. SO cute. No, not just cute, sexy. There is no way he could be single...right?
Dr. Bob, if you are reading this, you are a total doll, and I hope that you don't mind my saying so.
sigh...

Gee, I always thought that *I* was your "total doll," sight unseen, sniff, sniff. I'll even fix my nose for you, my dear.

You have every right to be very angry and very sensitive about intimate relationships between patients and therapists.
Many patients (clients) have huge crushes on their therapists, and it is up to the therapist to maintain his/her ethical boundaries.
Dr. Bob isn't anyone's therapist on this board, just maybe a few women's fantasies. If possible, try not to read too much into these posts, they are light-hearted in nature. Unlike your experience which sounds quite traumatic.Shelli

Thanks for the clarification Shelli, yes it is lighthearted, though well-founded. :-)
And Kazoo, I didn't know you cared...:-)
