This is a question I have to all of you who are on meds for either ADD/depression or both. I have both. I take Prozac on & off but I hate being sleepy. Is there really a problem with medications or do they help with not being focused? Ugenia Kay

I'm not sure if I understand your question completely so if I'm way off base just disregard it. The AD that I'm on, effexor, has helped me with my concentration. This started at the low dose and as the dose was risen it helped me with fatigue. However, some medications have made both worse.

Avoid the on and off, there are many start up problems the resolve after a month or more. If something is not working after 8 weeks or has negative side effects you cannot deal with move to another. If it is focus and ADD you are treating the Effexor or a stim might be a better
choice.Pat
