How are you? How were the holidays? How is the Neurontin?
Best wishes for a better new year,
Allison

Hi Allison,
Good to hear from you! I'm doing OK, very busy at work. I rec'd a promotion which is really going to increase my workload, but I'm excited about the recognition. Along with my regular duties I have to handle the new ones as well. At least I have a staff to delegate some of the work to. My knee is still in pretty bad shape. I'm beginning to wonder if surgery was such a good idea. I can't walk up stairs without it feeling a nail is being shoved under my kneecap. I see my doc today and won't leave his office until I have some answers.
The holidays were pretty good, I just as usual couldn't get into the spirit. I do enjoy watching the kids open presents though. I'm just kind of glad that it's all over for now. I did finally get my Palm Pilot though...now I have no excuse to not be completely organized... Yeah, right :) Boys and their toys you know.
My meds are still working well, although I've been dealing with a lot of fatigue for the last 6-8 weeks. The pdoc put me on Wellbutrin again but I haven't noticed any change. But the Zyprexa/Neurontin combo is keeping the BiPolar in check. I've only had 2 or 3 manic episodes since I started it. How is it working out for you? Are you taking anything besides the Neu?
Well, that's me in a nutshell. Write me when you can and let me know how you're doing, how Santa treated you, etc.
I hope everything is great on your end!
Greg

Ya know, you have seemed well for a nice long while, Greg! I hope this doesn't jinx it--but glad your meds are working.
I hope your orthopod can help you get that knee feeling better.

Hi Greg,
Glad to hear you're doing well. Hope your doctor gave you some answers on that knee. Sorry to hear about your credit card/Amazon troubles.Like you, I'm glad the holidays are over. I took the tree down today -- the earliest I've ever done it. Christmas was not great. It was just me and my dad, and my dad just is not good at celebrating holidays. He just doesn't know how. New Year's was peaceful and restorative, I think. I pretty much shut myself in my house, painted, read, did stuff I like to do.
Neurontin seems to be OK (I'm at 800mg). I keep wondering if it is enough. I'm taking Wellbutrin SR also -- 400mg. Not sure just how I should be feeling. What is good enough? (Maybe if I have to ask, it isn't.) My script is due for a refill, so I'll bring it up next week.
Take care.
Allison
