The definition of Too Connected

Posted by Greg on October 18, 2000, at 11:24:43

A man in the restroom, in a stall doing his business while talking on his cell phone trying to complete a deal with a customer.

Suddenly I don't feel so bad about the time I spend on the Internet....

At least we know he had something to jot his notes down on....

Good image to use if you are feeling intimidated by someone you are calling!

That sort of thing is why I'm so glad not to have video phones!

Since I worked at home a lot before we moved, I'd often work very, very late at night: until almost morning in many cases. Somehow, eight oclock came much too soon for me, so I' sleep until I woke up, and if the telephone rang too early, a common occurance, I'd do a good imitation of someone rational, but often while wearing a flannel nightgown and furry slippers! With long hair, tangled from sleep, bleary eyes, and the ratty bathrobe, my clients would have been horrified!

The cell phone in the men's room, though, is going a bit far...
