i have been using phentermine and l-dopa (125mg/25mg sinemet) at night, with excellent results. phentermine must less problematic that amphetamine or ritalin with good focusing attributes and almost zero "high" type effects or "spacey" feeling i would get with ritalin. also find that tracking testosterone and estrogen levels seem to perhaps also play a hand in attention deficit. higher ratio of testorone/estrogen seems to decrease need for stimulant therapy altogether. best ratio, regardless of levels, in men, appear to be 20:1 in favor of testosterone. mine used to be 9:1. for women, don't know. if anyone has other experience with unorthodox or unapproved meds for various degrees of ADD, please email. i am 48 year old male. life is good. also recommend highly new book out called Scattered. Gotta go.
