As usual...
But therapy has been weird lately
I have an over controlling psychiatrist who sees me too often and doesn't want me to smoke pot
A group therapist who objects to that approach as therapeutic because I just need to figure out why I want to do that
And a therapist who doesn't think the pot is good for me and is kinda insisting that I tell my pdoc that I'm smokingWhat the hell is all this? I don't know what to think.

So, three people involved therapeuticapaly? Are they all in communication with each other it does does you no good as a patient if your therapist isn't speaking with with your psychiatrist, and all are coordinated on your treatment. You are bound, rather, with professionals to use use you each as a willing guinea pig for proving their treatment protocol as effective or not.
I'd rather these people either conference on a call, or in an appointment with you, to cooridinate your care and treatment plan. You need to know what it is; agree to agree with all the professionals present, and; you have to agree to follow the protocol as lined out. If there is a problem at any time, you are you have a direct phone number with which help can be summoned, be it an adjustment in medication, or an admission for hospitalisation.
This would be be my most furtid wish as a patient.

Because this is precisely what didn't go right for me at the treatment facility I went to. I want there to be a trail somewhere that can't be hacked away.
(Why would you care?)

Hi Sleepygirl2,
I don't know how you keep track of what you tell each of them. Do they ever talk to each other? It look like you're being pulled in three directions, no wonder you're confused. It doesn't seem like a treatment team, more like a tag team.

Thanks, PC
Nope, they don't communicate too often, only if they think there's a problem. I think I'll be quitting group. It was a good experiment.

Yup :-). Thanks, Poet.
They only talk to each other if they think there's a problem.
I feel I need to protect one from the other. I respect them all, but don't necessarily agree completely with any one of them.
I don't want one to discount the other, and I feel like that's happening. So, for that reason and others, I'm going to quit group.
This is the end of the thread.
