i dont see pdoc till friday.
my best friend that i work with is out this week on vacation and i dont want to bring him down.
my niece is having a rough relationship time
and a friend i met in the hospital is not doing well herself.i have no one to talk with about this.
i dont want to worry DH. and since i never know how he's going to react to this stuff i dont want to deal with his emotions as well.i think i'm going to be poking around here this week.
im just tired of medication that doesnt work.
:(pity party below:
maybe i'm just meant to stay broken.

I am thinking of your post on the thread Tep started.....So you feel deep unrelenting depression?
You can always talk to me, but I don't have much to say for myself. I have just been walking here
or at least trying to walk. There was so much snow and ice and the lake was frozen over. We threw rocks onto the surface and they made a musical tone. I have never seen a frozen lake before.
Yeah, the meds are problematic. I feel better the less I take, but sometimes there's not a lot of choice.

No, you aren't meant to stay broken although it certainly feels that way at times. Here's your pep talk. Look at how far you have come. You are so much stronger, more stable and willing to come here and ask for help. We know you and many of us understand what you're going through. But there truly is light at the end of the tunnel. The problem is you don't know where you are in that tunnel. While there are ups and downs always, steps forward and back, you are progressing. I can see it in how you write and your willingness to open up.
Medications are so tough. You know you need them, but sometimes, so many times, they don't help or make it worse. It's easy for me to urge you to keep trying, you'll find something, but the truth is you'll know when the meds are working and, unfortunately, when they're not and that's so hard to bear.
Focus on how far you've come. Be proud of your growth because it's there, I see it and I'm sure others do.
Please take care and keep posting if it helps. Isolation is the worst, or at least it is for me.
I'm sending you lots of support, hope and compassion. Lean on us. You don't have to go it alone.

These are very powerful words for me.
throughout my whole life i dont get that from anyone....i'm very grateful. and sometimes feel honored, to know everyone at this site.
most times (as sad as it is) i am never as close with anyone as i am with the virtual strangers on these boards.you mean the world to me.

It is amazing, isn't it?
It is so old.
Way older than the rocks in the USA.
I may have heard that the rocks there are the oldest in the world?
Maybe half the age of the solar system?
I forget.
That is in Tasmania, the little island at the bottom of Australia.
We just went there to enjoy what is left of our short winter.

You have a lot on your plate, b2c. I like what Antigua had to say and have little more to add. But I send you hugs and encouragement for getting through a rough week. You are cared for here.
Take good care, Lucie
