Today felt right

Posted by Dinah on June 14, 2011, at 14:27:32

For the first time since all this trouble started.

My therapist was coming off a vacation. Perhaps he felt refreshed. Or, since we were talking about my addictive behaviors, maybe he felt at ease in a familiar area. But for whatever reason, he felt like him and the space between us felt like *us*.

I don't know if it will last, but at least it gives hope that things can be better.

Love when those sessions when everything falls into place. You were way overdue.

Thanks. :)

It really was overdue. Last session I was still thinking that the therapeutic relationship was over, and I was just holding onto the remnants. Today I have a bit of hope.

My top choice would be for things to get back to the way they were.

Growing is way overrated.
