Hey, I'm new here and kind of nervous about posting lol... But I just needed to vent about something. So I live on the east coast and we've been getting SO much snow lately. I had a therapy appointment two weeks ago, and it got cancelled because of the snow, and I changed it to tomorrow. But I had to cancel that because of the snow as well! So now my next appointment is in 2 weeks. So that means that it will have been 6 weeks since my last appointment! GahhH!!! It's so frustrating. I just really need some reassurance, and I figured you guys would understand.

Being I live in New York I do understand the weather. I have driven to therapy appointments in blizzards lately. That is how desperate I am.

I know just how you feel!!
We've had a few hurricane evacuations and evacuation possibilities, and I evaluate them almost exclusively in terms of therapy. Will the hurricane slow down so I can make that Tuesday appointment? I remember once my therapist cancelled his sessions and went home early, but he hadn't had time to cancel mine, so the cancellations started after me. I was so happy!!
Which is a very odd way to think about hurricanes.
I don't know what your relationship with your therapist is like, but is it possible to schedule an extra appointment at a different time? Or if that's impossible, to have a phone session, or at least a few check in calls?

thanks for the responses, everyone!!!! i really appreciate it. it's especially funny about we view the weather in terms of "will it affect my therapy appts" haha i'm totally the same way, clearly ;)
