Hi. This is my first post here. I don't understand my T. I just got out of a two month inpatient hospital stay for bipolar. She decided I'm now well enough to see her every other week. WTH! I just got out of the hospital! Of course I'm not well enough yet! What do I do? I've had other problems with this T and she wasn't my first choice, but so far I thought things were okay. Help!

Hello AppleG10
Welcome to Psycho-Babble. I've read some bad things happening to people after their stays in hospital, like T's terminating them after the hospital. I hope that's not what's happening with you. It seems like the hospital is a good way for T's to distance themselves from their clients/patients.
It seems like a lot of T's only take on easy clients these days and clients/patients with lots of problems are dumped a lot.

A therapist is your employee. You hire them to work for you. Hire someone you can at the very least not feel upset by. In searching for a T I met some T's that I couldn't imagine working with. I tried working with one but she was so not right for me and I kept hanging in there until I had the confidence to believe that I am not some mental case that needs a T to decide if I should be seeing them or someone else. That it is my decision.
This is the end of the thread.
