Well, some of you have "seen" my struggle with the paying my t, and I will have to tell him tonight I cannot pay him for awhile. The anxiety (feelings of overwhelmed and dread) are eating me alive.
I will let you know what happens.
I don't believe he will not see me, but I have to allow for that possibility.
The way I deal with things, is to think of the worst.

Sassy good luck and I once a long time ago have a cousellor say " What's the worst that can happen will they put you up against a wall and shoot you". Put things in perspective for me. Phillipa

This is sad, but I know how it feels. My T allowed me to come during a time when I had no money so I ran up a balance on my account. Well, it was all fine and dandy until it got to be a bit much for me. She told me not to worry, I'd been seeing her for a long time and she didn't care how long it took me to pay it off. Wrong, she went back on her word just this past summer after she retired a year ago. She made me a fair and honest offer to pay her off which I had no choice but to to take. It left me in a financial mess though. So be careful. The money is so hard when it comes to not having it but still wanting to see our t so dang bad!

Thanks for responding and caring ((Ladybug and Phillippa)))).
I was ready more or less for what happened. He didn't offer to reduce the rate, etc.....seeing him for 6 years; never missed a payment, etc., etc......I sat there and ever now and then 1 tear would roll down just on my left eye........very artistic, LOL
I got in my car and was shaking all over. This morning I had the dry heaves.
Other than that, i feel fine......I had hoped he would try to keep me coming, etc......

Sassy this is the same therapist as prior right? All the love and caring one? I think he stinks. Just my personal opinion and I'm so sorry for you. What can I say????? Love Phillipa

oh sassy, I'm sorry.
Was that your last visit then? Was he able to give you some techniques to help in your time away? Will you go back to him later or try to see someone with a sliding scale fee?
I know it's not quite the same, but we'll be here for you for no charge.

From what you've said in the past about him, it seems you're better off without him. He has no boundaries and charges you to be a fake friend or lover.

I'm so sorry. I know how much you care about him and how much this must hurt.
I suppose one thing to remember is that he was taken by surprise. He hadn't heard about this possibility before had he?
