Does anyone else get their hopes up that they may have found an answer and then it doesn't work out and you internally crash again? That's what's happened again. That hormone doc is a wellness center for longivity in the Ritzy area money zone here so cash only. Now how do you get hormone testing. It's psych related as my feelings are always getting dashed and seriously try so hard to look for answers. Any suggestions? Love Phillipa babble pest

What about trying an anti-aging doctor in your area. If you tell me what the area is I can tell you the names from my source. Or I can give you the name of a website.
Let me know. I am thinking of going to a clinic in Lousiville KY or there is one in Washington State that is great.
On this one website I know of they offer testing for hormones too. It is the Life Extensions website. Google Life Extensions. I guess they hook you up with someone to take the blood etc and send it off to their clinic. They do all types of hormonal tests. Including the salvia test which is the best for hormonal levels.
Let me know. I have been doing extensive research into this area, bio-identical hormone therapy, anti-aging medicine and practices along with supplements to help treat conditions versus conventional meds. Sometimes along side of conventional meds. But you do need a doc that is versed in this type of medicine.

Phillipa,
Forgive me if you have been talking about this in another thread (Babble has been moving too fast for me recently!), but what exactly are you looking for?

Lucie Lu yes did start in another thread with fears. My pdoc suggested I get my hormone levels checked and since I did well on bioidentical ones in the past but a one size fits all cream RX. So I need a doctor that does individualized hormone testing found the compounding pharmacy. Creams are what had before came in a syringe without needle and you pushed the plunger and the exact amount you wanted came out and you rubbed in in your skin. The skin absorbs medications, hormones, etc moisturizers. Sorry it's so long. Love Phillipa and that is three in a row. My limit.

You were replying individually to people's posts.
That doesn't count as three in a row. That's one of the exceptions to the rule.

Scott,
while I did not really want the visual image, you did make me laugh and today I really really needed it.:)
I wanted to add to 10der's "glad you are here and stay away"
well, she did not say it like that I am paraphrasing.I am glad you're here though.
Thanks Scott's friend for the report! :) We want you to put it back together again for us, since Scott would be missed.

Update on that hormone doc seems we found him was ob-gyn for over 20 years and has a practice now that treats all I think with bioidentical hormones does the individual testing and all. Stopped in their office yesterday. Bought his book which is on Amazon " The Youth Effect " by Ronald L Brown MD. Has a lot of websites google www.carolinahealthspan.com. Seems the first link wasn't working for me but got on second link. Would you guys mind giving opinions on this doc? I can take it I think if you don't agree but always did well with a one size fits all bioidentical hormone cream from compounding pharmacy. His is done with blood tests feels the urine and saliva not accurate. Deals with men also. So far from what I read not much I've always believed in this philosophy but seriously some feedback. I'm 62 and almost 63. No insurance $250 first appointment includes physical, work-up and then the lab and medicaire will cover the testing. Two months till first available appointment. It's what Dr Phil's wife and Christine Northrup also believe in and Suzanne Sommers. Please let stay here on thread as this is my last hope. Thanks. I'm serious looking forward to feedback. Love Phillipa
This is the end of the thread.
