But the lyrics of this song (yes, I'm in high school again) remind me a lot of therapy when I'm really connected to my therapist.
Whisper - A Fine Frenzy
Running the race
Like a mouse in a cage
Getting nowhere but I'm trying
Forging ahead
But I'm stuck in the bed
That I made so I'm lyingBut if you keep real close
Yeah, you stay real close
I will reach youI'm down to a whisper
In a daydream on a hill
Shut down to a whisper
Can you hear me stillEager to please,
Trying to be what they need
But I'm so very tired
I've stopped trying to find
Any peace in my mind
Because it tangles the wiresBut if you keep real close
Yeah, you stay real close
I will reach youI'm down to a whisper
In a daydream on a hill
Shut down to a whisper
Can you hear me
Can you hear me stillThe sound tires on my lips
To fade away into forgettingI'm down to a whisper
In a daydream on a hill
Shut down to a whisper
Can you hear me
Can you hear me

Seldom,
thanks for that. That says alot doesn't it.
I really like the part about "But if you keep real close
Yeah, you stay real close
I will reach you". That is so nice.Really the whole thing is dead on. I understand how you feel.
and it ok to be in high school. I was looking at some of the people I went to high school in my year book. I got triggered this morning after I dropped my son off at school.
Bad feelings came to the surface.
Thanks for this. It helped.
