I don't know how many logs I've done so far hence the question mark. I haven't done one in a long time either. So here goes...
In one way I have been doing better. I met with someone about volunteering and I start next week. I have been driving farther and I drove myself to the doctors last week. I plan to drive myself to therapy next week. So that's good.
I still think I need more people in my life. I feel really lucky that I have a good buddy and my family, but I want more, lol. Like Ariel in the Little Mermaid, haha.
I am thinking about grad school, but that will probably be way down the line like in a couple years. I am going to take a class or two first and volunteer to see if its what I really want to do.
One thing I'm struggling with right now is how to know when I'm "ready" to do things. I wrote a post about it above.
I am interested in a very part time position at an agency near my house.
I'm reading a really good book. It's a fiction book called "How to Meet Cute Boys"
I still want to move out of my parents house. It's just not on my top priority list right now but I'm thinking next year in the spring will be a good time.
well I guess that's all for now. thanks for reading.

I'm not sure that I can offer any helpful advice.
I know that generally for myself I have very rarely felt "ready" for anything.
Every new experience is a lot to take in.
I sincerely believe that most of life is showing up. That quote from Woody Allen "85% of life is showing up"...do you know it?
for me, THAT is indeed most of the work. The thing is that I am exhausted by the time I get wherever it is I have to show up!Any medication helping you tone down the anxiety a bit?
I wonder what "ready" looks like, feels like? Do you know?

Hi Angela,
It seems if you are thinking about doing these things, it's a sign you might be ready. But.... some advice... try one thing at a time and see how you do before trying too much, it is so easy to get overwhelmed. Good luck, you sound really good.

That was exactly what I was going to say. I love to think and plan of all the things I will do and then when I can't I've failed so setting goals to high and too fast I guess isn't good. Now tell my mind to stop it as it doesn't listen to me. Phillipa
