Does your T take a break in August? For how long? What do you do?
Mine is going away for the whole freaking month. I'm trying to prepare myself...

I had one that left for a month--left the country, so we couldn't have telephone conversations. But before she left, she told me who I could talk to if I had an emergency or something. In addition, I wrote her a long letter, nearly every day, and sent it to her address as if she was receiving them. It allowed me to still work on things while she was away--one of the things being that she left me for month. :)

Mine's only seeing me once a month so it doesn't really matter. On my own I guess. Phillipa

It is hard when they are gone. I have just come to know I am on my own and I make it through it.. You will make it, I know it is scarey to feel all alone.. I never call his replacements.. Might as well talk to a stranger on the street..lol. You will make it through.. Just go day by day and try not to think about it..

Hi backseatdriver,
My T was gone for all of this past February out of the country so there was no way to call or email her. She told me to write about what was going on with me and then share it with her when she got back.
She arranged for another T to be available in case of an emergency, but I don't feel comfortable talking to a stranger so even when I was laid off from my job and falling apart I waited until my T was back.
