It seems like a dream that I would have someone that is so understanding and supportive as the T. I have now. The first T. I ever had, a few years ago, moved 3000 miles away just after having seen her for 4 months-- I was starting to open up a bit.(felt abandonded) Then the second T.- a psychologist-- who i still email-- but I quit therapy with him-- he tried hard but it was just too triggering for me. So, now this current T. I've seen for 6 months- she is so nice but yet gets me to work hard, she is understanding and so supportive.
It just seems like a dream...... never ever had anyone like this...... I'm apprehensive and cautious but hope that this therapy-relationship(yikes! that word scares me!)will keep feeling safe. aahhhhh feels so nice to feel safe for once.
If I could have a wish, I'd wish that all of you would/or do feel safe and supported like I do.just wanted to share......

I think it is fantastic that you are relating so well to your T. It shows that you're doing your work and that she is connected with helping you!
Yea!
I know one that if 40 miles from her.....80 mile round trip.....I really like her, but can't afford that drive.
Yeah, the Lexapro has pretty much leveled my playing field!

Hey Pat! Thanks for replying!
It's unbelievable how this T. really "gets me"-- it just doesn't seem possible/real. Heh-- maybe I'll feel different in the future about T. but I sure hope not.
Darn-- that's too bad you can't see the T. that you like. :o(
If I ever win the lottery I'll make it possible for you to go! :o)and double darn the Lexapro is not good for you either... argh!!..
