I'm going to stay busy. Unfortunately this involves going to work :( :( :(
I couldn't find a way out of it, esp. because it's easter holiday.
I did my 30 minutes of journalling and went for a quick freezing walk down to the pond.
I stayed in the present for about 15 seconds at a time.
I took a nibble of klonopin, less than as directed, because I have to go to work and need my wits about me.
I have to get ready to go now.
hope this finds you all in good spirits.
more on DBT later. I'm going to the bookstore later on. I already picked up "Cognitive Behavioral Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder" by Linehan. Now all I need is the skills workbook. Theory + skills + therapeutic alliance + h on board + stable on meds = stable llurpsie.

Try to find time to do something you enjoy as well. Small joys are good for the soul.
Don't I remember that you gave your three weeks notice? How much is left?

Working is a good thing. If you are working then your mind is less likely to start thinking about the bad stuff.

Work is likely a contributing factor towards my mental breakdown last week. yuck. I wrote my letter of resignation and only have 3 more days to work.
sigh...
At least I have some kind of a job lined up in May-ish.

1) take a walk to the pond. wear jogging shoes. JUST in case I feel like running around the block. T told me I should. If I exercise 5 times, I get to buy myself a bouquet. I need to consequate my actions. build in rewards
2) after walk/jog I will eat breakfast and play on babble.
3) after breakfast I will compute some numbers for a paper that I'm working on. The reward for this will be that a certain someone will get off my *SS.
4) I will take a break and shower
5) I will have marriageT
good morning!
