I just got a note and a check (he owed me money) from my old T. It was very short but hand written, he said he hoped all was going well and he signed it, take care, First name, and last intial.
Well on his check where he signs his name it is hardly readable. If I didn't know who he was, I wouldn't have been able to read it. I thought it was kinda of funny.sigh, I saw him walking to his office today from a long distance away ( I was waiting at a stoplight), it made me sort of sad but in a way okay too because I know he still exhists. This is way harder than I thought this would be.

Sure. Many. He signs all his receipts.
It's a bit rushed and sloppy, as you'd expect from something so tedious done many times a day. But forward slant, bold strokes, slender but noticeably long loops up and down, and a slightly embellished first letter of his first name. Hurried but quite legible. It suits him.
I'm glad you got to see him and know he's still around. I'm not surprised at how hard it is. You were attached to him. I hate losing people I care about, but sometimes I'm also glad at the proof that I can care deeply.

Hi Happyflower,
When my bank used to send back actual cancelled checks I have her signature endorsing them.
It's not her signature, but I have the first appointment card she made out for me with the date of my first "real" session.

I've seen my T's signature a few differnt times. Once she signed a receipt for me, I couldn't even read it, but I'm sure they use a certain signature as to not have anyone try forgery. Another one was a check she signed. I saved that check and placed it in a book I read out of all the time.
What's up with this idea? Does it make them seem real to see something they created and we can actually put our eyes on? That's it for me, I'm a visual person.
I've got several notes that she's written to me over the years. I love to look at her writing. In fact, I'm so bad, once I took one of her notes and had a friend of mine that does handwriting analysis look at it. He said that she likes to spend money and that love was very important to her in her life and whatever else I don't remember.
One of the most prize possesions I have from her is a note that she sent me that said "I Love You Too." Wow, that's a wonderful thought.
Ok, that was a broad answer!

I haven't seen his signature, but I have seen just a little bit of his writing. It looked like a kid in elementary school. It was printed and the letters were inconsistent in size & case. I got a kick out of it. I wonder what his signature looks like.
I bet it is awfully hard to see your old T. I saw my old one a few times in the year after I left him (several years ago) but it would just stir up all these feelings in me, just when I thought I was gettin him out of my mind. It must have taken me 4-5 years to stop dreaming about him. - Pathetic!
