I adore my T and my pdoc. I feel very lucky to have them. I turns out that I am going to be moving out of state quite suddenly (next week) and so I am going to have to terminate. I am heartbroken! I only see T 2x more and pdoc once. Anyone have any sage advice on making this termination as positive as possible? This really hurts to lose such important women in my life.
Best,
EE

Can you maintain some sort of contact with them as a bridge like email or phone contact. Would they be open to this?

My T said if I am in town I can come in for a session, so that is good. I don't know about phone calls or emails though. Good idea. I'll ask.

IT would seem to be a good idea to be able to have some sort of contact until you are settled with a new therapist.
