Okay, so I have this darn rental car because my car is getting fixed from my car accident. Well dumb me I lock myself out. Okay,no big deal right? Just call enterprise and they have a spare key, right?
NO TOTALLY WRONG! So I had to walk home with my groceries 3/4 of mile because a cab was going to charge me a minimum of 10 bucks to take me home. Well okay, I get home call the car rental place and I have to get a key made at the dealership because they don't have spare keys!!!! Well the dealership is in the nearby town, and I don't have anyone to call to give me a ride so I take a cab their to get the key and take me to my car $30 bucks for the cab ride, and 20 bucks for the key, I get to the car, and the damn key doesn't work. I told the cab to go, because I thought it would work, but NOOOOOO!
So I walked home again, I am not even supppose to be walking much according to doctors orders. Then it starts to rain, so I am home soaked to the bone.
Now this is the day I have to study almost all day, I had doct. appointment in the morning, then study, study ,study. Well it is 4pm, no studying , no car (enterprise is going to get a key and check it on the car and come get me(who knows how long that is going to take, so hubby needs a ride home from work,, no supper in the crock pot, and I am totally frazeled! So my good feelings from my T session yesterday lasted a whole day!!!aauuugghhhh! I think I need some chocolate! a lot of it. or a drink, but NOOOOO I have frickin test tomorrow, so study with stress okay great. I think I am going to do what my abnorm. psych has his clients do with anger, rip out pages out of a phone book. AAAUUUUGGGHHHHH! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, maybe a nap would be better. So the moral of the story is don't get in dumb accidents, don't lock your keys in the car, and if you have to rent a dumb rental car, spend a coupld of bucks to have a key made, even if you are only renting for a week. Live and learn I guess.

Hi Happyflower,
I found out the hard way that rental companies don't have spare keys, too. Though in my case Enterprise paid for someone to come and jimmy open the door while I waited. If I were you I'd call them and ask for a manager to discuss a refund. What a pain.
I hope you got some studying in and you get money off that rental car. And had lots of chocolate.

Sounds like a really sucky day. At least the day is over now. After your test you deserve a treat.

Happyflower,
wow- just seeing some stupid little thing can ruin my whole day, I think you deserve some massive credit for dealing with all of this exercise and stress and inconvenience and difficult people and streSs!!Whatever you're doing is working-- sure you locked the keys in the car, but you managed to bring the groceries home and do a lot of things that the most perfect prefect would have done. I probably would have just zoned out and looked wistfully at my wilting basil plant all afternoon while wondering why my heart was palpitating, and expecting a call from the towing company/rental car company, who discovered an abandoned vehicle rented out to me. Huh? ME? NOOOO!!!! imPOSSibLe!!
