I'm worried that maybe my T is sick and will cancel our appointment tomorrow. He works for a place where he calls in sick, so I won't hear until tomorrow if it is canceled. I really need to talk to him. I'm worried because I sent him an email last night and he didn't reply to it today. That could be for many reasons, I know, like he took the day off today or he didn't get the email, or he didn't have time to respond (although he usually at least says he got it), or he didn't check his email or something. Or maybe he just didn't want to answer it. So I'm really worried that he's sick and he's going to cancel tomorrow. Aaaaaaaaaaagh!

Yeah, he is. Ick. I kind of needed to see him. But if he comes in tomorrow I'll see him then. I just have this feeling he won't be in tomorrow.

Wow, that's unbelievable that you picked up on that non-response to your e-mail that he might be sick.
I know how hard that is when you are looking forward to an appointment and they need to cancel. My T has only cancelled one appointment. I used my appointment time to go to a yoga class (something just for me) and it was a great use of my therapy time. Do you have something special you can do for yourself?

Well, I guess it's not so amazing given that usually when he doesn't respond to an email it means he's sick. And I'm super-sensitive to everything, so I pick up on little changes very quickly.
I don't know if I'll do anything special with the appointment time. Maybe just get a lot of work done so that I can have free time tonight. I considered going in to my job because my appointment got canceled (I'm a college student, so have homework, school, and a very flexible job), but decided I'd rather get work done and have free time. So I guess that's kind of doing something for myself.
Thank you.
