It has been going on for 2 weeks now. I am eating because I feel anxious, but I am not sure what about. It had been over a year I was feeling like this. What the heck is going on with me?

Hi Happy: Since I got sick (not ED) I've done alot of coping eating. Mostly to distract from pain and anxiety. It s*cks. Do you think that something similar to what was going on a year ago is happening now?
Or do you think it has to do with school starting? I don't know. Is it definately a "bad" anxiety feeling? Cause sometimes I used to expect badness so often that I ended up interpreting stuff like anticipation and excitement, as anxiety/scary too -- and then react to it the same way.
Do you have any guesses as to what it might be?

Hi Happyflower,
Keep in mind I have an ED, but when I have anxiety I eat and eat. I try to repeat in my head *food will not make the anxiety go away.* Kind of like a mantra.
Maybe you can come up with something to repeat to yourself. It might help.
