Ring! Hello Pdoc?

I'm calling my P today to tell her I am not going to continue Zyprexa. I won't even give it a chance after it knocked me down for 16 hours the first day! I have a job and family. I just can't dream it away. I am quitting Lamictal too. It doesn't work either. There is nothing wrong with me other than a bad attitude. No med can cure that!

Hey curt,
are you sure that there's no medicine out there that will help you? I mean, we all have "attitude" but your attitude may be superimposed onto a mental disorder that's manifest through some goofy brain chemicals? Is your attitude interfering with treatment? Are you going to go see a T instead to learn alternative ways of interfering with the goofy brain states?

Just wondering. Well, watch yourself, and take care of problems before they explode in your face. Don't be afraid to ask pdoc for a second chance, or a second medicine.

Again, good luck with the anti-medication.
