Hey Muffled,
What should we do at Camp Comfort today?
Do you like to do jigsaw puzzles? I like them because you can make sense out of chaos. I have a puzzle of my therapist's face. But I might miss him too much if I do that one. Maybe I'll do the easy one of the cute puppy.
We could blow bubbles for the puppies here to catch.
I seem fixated on puppies today, guess I'll have to cuddle with mine a bit.
Do you want to do grownup things or kid things? I tend to go for the kid things more - like swinging on swings. I especially like to swing with a friend (Racer is a good swinger). Will you swing with me?
We could make someores, and keep the fire going in the fireplace (I'm a pyromaniac).
What do you want to do?

I want to read poetry outloud to each other. I'm thinking Dr. Seuss or Shel Silverstein.
And I want chinese food for lunch.
I'm in a weird mood, maybe I should stay home?
Nah...

Funny you should mention Shel Silverstein. I read one of his books to my dogs this morning. It is such a readaloud book. They slept through it happily, but I really enjoyed it. It is called Lafcadio, the lion who shot back. It's an oldie but goodie. Particularly good for 2-3 grade boys, I think. But it has to be read aloud. I'd be happy to read it again, if anyone wants to listen.
I'm doing a little better today. Maybe I'll even be able to be productive by tomorrow. Camp is good and Babble friends are the best.

I haven't played with a puppy in a long time. I'd love that. What kind of puppy do you have?
I have to go to the library today (overdue book --- sorry to admit) but I'll check out that Shel Silverstein book for my 2nd grader.
I'd like to build a fire (either indoors or out --- depends upon the wind). Make a birthday cake : -) then eat the cake (grin) with lots of ice cream. Who needs dinner?

After all, Ice cream is one of the four major food groups...
I have two cocker spaniels. They can come to Camp Comfort, can't they? Technically, they are too old to be puppies (9 and 11). But keep them away from the chocolate cake (is there any other kind?) they have already had chocolate poisoning once.

Thanks for letting me join in, I was very scared to ask (big problem with rejection)
I'd like to lie under a tree and make pictures out of the clouds and leaves whilst listening to daisy read her poetry.
However if it is cold & snowy outside I'd like to be inside infront of a roaring log fire making pictures from the flames, wrapped in a quilt with a hot chocolate listening to daisy's poems.

When I was in 6th grade we had to write something for "Language Arts". I decided that I wanted to write about the clouds, and the pictures that they made in the sky (Obviously it was a beautiful day and I didn't want to be inside). So I went out and lay on the grass looking at the sky. And I discovered the most magical thing. I saw the moon - in the middle of the day in the sky. It still blows me away.
I'm so glad you are coming, Milly! Camp Comfort is all about people.

Hi. I am back. Kinda freaked out a bit. I'm ok mostly.
I think if I can just sit under a tree and you guys can smile at me and be nice then that would be good.
I just want to sit. Thats all.
