It seems like I usually have an appointment with my T. on or within one day of Valentine's Day. I have taken her some cookies in years past, but she doesn't like me to bring her anything. I go on Thurs. next week. So today, I made her a card and sent it in the mail!!! What will she think? I'm sure she will appreciate it but wonder why I did it. And I'll have to talk about it. She will get it on Mon. and I hope it's ok. I love Valentine's Day.
This year I'm not a very happy person in my marriage and don't want to do anything for my spouse for Valentine's. He already gave our daugherts each a stuffed animal. How thoughtful.
The card I made said 'Valentine's is a day to celebrate those that have a special place in our heart' And she does!!!!!!!!!!
Don't feel like a loser, cuz your not!!!
And Happy Hearts Day to you!!

I could of had that day if I wanted to, but I am seeing him the day after.I have never had a good Valentines Day. He told me to have a nice birthday because my Valentine's Day was probably going to suck. Well thank you T very much for that, even if that little jerk is right (don't ya hate that). Well why doesn't he do something to make that day not suck for me. I would love to give him one of those little cards like kids get to exchange with each other. It would be fun! :-) Maybe I should have went on V-day, at least I could have had a little enjoyment! LOL.
Have fun on your date, I mean appointment, FW!!! Just kidding, ya know! :-)

I do! I was excited when I realized it was on Valentines Day.. not really sure why, but it seems special. Of course, I'm sure its only special to me.
Definitely dont feel like a loser! You're not at all. And if he scheduled you at that time, he obviously doesnt mind being there with you.

Thanks for all the replies. I have SO many things to talk to him about....he might regret this valentines day!LB I think just bec. you love Valentine's Day is a great reason to make her a card...very thoughtful.
hf .... you are too funny, and your T needs a spanking for saying that to you!
thanks again!

I had to laugh!
I was just saying to my mom and sister that this will be the 4th Valentines Day in a row that I am single with no plans...But then I remembered- I have my app't. with shrink tomorrow. So that will be my Valentine's night. Ha!
Hey, things could always be a lot worse.Don't be depressed about it...See it as self-improvement and this time next Valentine's Day we will be at a much better place.
:)
