feeling scared today.

Posted by B2chica on January 26, 2006, at 10:47:48

i'm really feeling scared right now. i'm at work but i want to just curl up in a ball in a dark corner and shake. i'm guessing it's because normally i'd have an appt. with T this afternoon.
but i've been thinking of my 'mother' lately also. i'm scared, really scared and i don't know of what. h@ll maybe i just had too much coffee this morning. i've been off caffine and had a 16oz coffee. my anxiety is up.

this is the best place i have right now to openly discuss my past.

b2c.

It's really hard when you're supposed to have a T appt. and you don't. I'm glad you're posting about how you're feeling.

Is there anything you can do that's self-soothing that might sound a bit appealing right now?

Its ok B2. Its feelings that your having. Emotions. And you can let them pass. They just SIGNALS that your rightfully fussed bout missing your T and stuff. Your kid is feeling them too and getting confused and getting you confused, but its ok really. You may feel weird and confused and scared but what your feeling is perfectly normal and understandable and not surprizing to me at all.
So don't be scared, you are having strong emotions, but that is all they are. They may rise to the point where you think you can't stand it , but notice, they do subside. Like waves. Just ride them out. Breath. This tough time WILL pass. B2 can take care of B2.
Been there.
It'll be ok, really

((B2))

Muffled wrote you some of the best advice I can imagine. (Muffly, you are just so AWESOME!)

Hope you read her post over and over. Maybe it'll be calming. I think it would be for me.

I think you're doing fantastic under very difficult circumstances. Bet you've internalized some strength and belief in yourself from that wonderful T., so parts of him will always be with you. That's what I see. You just keep talking to us, please. We are here 24/7.
