Okay, my last session I am talking about having the presence of my grandmother and my friend with me even after they had died. Well we talked about this a bit.
And then on the side of his desk, he pulls out this book and told me to look at it. Well it was written by his brother who is also a T . His brother discoverd that by using EMDR, with people suffering from grief, it can produce ADC's (after death communications) that completely heal the sufferer pain. Well he offered me the book to read, and all I can say is boy is it weird stuff.
Now I am thinking do I need to talk to his brother for at least he would be more open to my discussion about fate? I wonder if my T believes in this stuff? I am going to ask him next time, because how can he believe in this , and not "my feelings" of his presence within me? My T also has a sister that is a T too. I bet it is interesting at their house for Thanksgiving, can you imagine? LOL
What is really weird is that I have visited the co-authors web site before and I didn't even know my T's brother and this guy worked together. Weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would he give you the book to read if he didn't believe it at some level? Maybe ask him if he's read it.

I know he has read it because he discribed parts of it to me, he even said some of it is a little "out there".
I am not going to let him touch me with that EMDR stuff, LOL
The book even discribes how a T can who is doing the EMDR can also "see" the same thing(ADC) as the client if he closes his eyes along with the client at the end. Freaky! I do believe in ADC's because I have had them and so has my DH. But it would be too freaky to plan it, and then do it. I think his brother will probably being appearing on Ripley Believe Or Not Show! I bet Dr. BOb knows my T's brother who does this freaky stuff in Chicago! LOL
