It totally thought it was on Thurs., wow! LOL Now I can stay up all night thinking about EMDR.
What does it mean if you forget about your appointment?
It is kinda funny I called today to leave a message asking him to let me know how much I have paid this year in therapy. I found out that it can be used as a medical deduction on my taxes. I said, well if you get a chance to give me the figure before my next appointment which I think is sometime this week. Well duh, it's tomorrow. He must think I am crazy. Well he did tell me I was last week, and I told him thank you. I took it as a compliment! LOL I think he is crazier than me. HA!

Normally I am counting down the days, and now I am like oh, man, it is really tomorrow? I guess I have been going every week for the last month, so maybe that is it. I think I will schedule for 2 weeks for the next one.

Hi Happyflower,
I think Freud would say you forgot the appointment because you didn't really want to go. No wonder I never agree much with Freud.
Maybe your T will think that you were just teasing him about your appointment being, oh so casually said, sometime this week. LOL.
I hope it goes well, tommorow.

That's interesting - I have an appointment tomorrow with an accupuncturist that I'm half dreading and I showed up 2 days early for it!
So we're ambivilent people it seems. I wouldn't read anything more than that into it.
Heck, I had a therapist who blew off our appointments 3 times and it was due solely to her poor time management. It completely wrecked me!! I finally decided to leave her practice for someone who was more sensitive to session committments and reliability.
