I tried to get intoxicated..but alas I'm not much of a drinker, I almost had a full bottle of some malt beverage (24 oz) and my very last klonopin :-(. I'm only slightly numb. I think I'll throw myself a pity party for a couple of days.

pity party is over for the moment, I'm going through the stages I guess. I'm trying to cope more adaptively at the moment. My meds are working I think (not to put it all there, but it does make a big difference), and I'm taking it easy (for the moment)
Thanks :-)

(((Sleepygirl)))) I'm a little late with this, but still wanted to offer my support. Same thing happened to me in 2003; yep right around the holidays. It stinks, but you'll get through it!

((((sleepygirl))))
so sorry about this...but i believe everything happens for a reason. and i truly believe that you were obviously meant to be at another job.
unemployment is a good idea. i also think you should take this time, not just to morn the loss of job but take time for yourself. do things you couldn't normally do because of your job.this can't be easy for you, but i'm wishing you the best.
please be good to yourself, try not to drink too much also, this could worsen depression or allow you to do something you normally wouldn't [like call up your old boss and tell him/her off (evil laugh)]
oh please don't do that.anyway. please take care of yourself.
b2c.

> Can you apply for unemployment benefits?
thank you, and yes I shall be applying for them soon. I'm trying to say some appropriate goodbyes to my coworkers, and thank goodness for the severance package. I'm working on the job leads too. what can I do, but just keep going?
anyway, thanks :-)

> so sorry about this...but i believe everything happens for a reason. and i truly believe that you were obviously meant to be at another job.Gee I really hope so!! Truthfully I wasn't so happy there.

Yes, I'm thinking about doing that. I keep thinking though that I must constantly be on the search. It's weird to be unemployed, but I really need the rest!!
> please be good to yourself, try not to drink too much also, this could worsen depression or allow you to do something you normally wouldn't [like call up your old boss and tell him/her off (evil laugh)]
I'm still going to the employee holiday party...perhaps a daquiri or two will help me do the deed (just kidding)
I really don't drink too much (hardly ever)
I was just in a baaaaaddd place. Now I think things could actually could be a lot worse. Sure, everything is not wonderful, but I've got a bit more perspective now.
Thank you for your kindness and concern.
-all the best,
sleepygirl
