you go in and say as calmly and as nonchalant as you can to anyone you *need* to, wow I am so embarrassed about yesterday, I felt so sick I that calling work slipped my mind (or whatever fits the situation). Say your sorry to whoever you need to and that you wont do that again. But try to act like it isnt a big deal because that will help others see it as smaller.
Im sorry you have to go through that, I know how stressful it is. you can do it, I know you can.

OK. I will try. I mean I will, but I will be so scared. Here's what I was thinking of saying: Hi. I'm really sorry about yesterday. I had a migraine all weekend and (yes, that's a lie) and it was still there Monday I took my medicine so I was hoping I'd feel better and I already missed work last week so I wanted to go if I could. I'm sorry I didn't call.
Now here's what I'm having trouble with: I was thinking about saying: I hope this doesn't stand against me, I try to be as reliable as I can.
But Would that make me sound like some suspicious kind of coworker? I dunno. What do you think?

I just feel like, now they're keeping their eye on me. They'll probably fire me if I do anything wrong again. Part of me will probably want to get fired like next week. But I have to put my foot down now and say: next week I am going to deal with this the same way I am dealing with it now.
Oh,. but the point of this post is to say that I don't know if I should say anything about their watching me when I apologize or just...apologize and leave it at that.

The less you say the better. The more you say the more you sound rehearsed. I would leave out the medicine and say I had such a bad migraine that I couldnt even think properly. Dont mention them watching you. Aha! You could tell your boss you suffere from migraines and they can be very debilitating and you want her to know that this is the reason you are at times distracted. what do you think?
