I have had two therapists (at different agencies--both of them knew about each other) for as long as I can remember, and both of them recently had to terminate due to life situations. I replaced them with two other T's, and now because of a giant shake-up in the Community Mental Health system in my county, may very well lose these two new T's, just as I was getting used to them (and fairly close to one). I may only have one T when this is over, and it may be a completely different therapist! I am feeling sick and unsettled over this situation...I guess I just need some comfort, and soothing during this process. I feel so out of control! My T's are my family, as I don't have any real family to help me...and know I'm going through losing people, all over again.

How does one get 2 therapists. I sure hope that you at least get to keep one that you have know.

I get help from a provate agency, as well as Community Mental Health here in my county. So I had two people, a therapist at the private agency and one at the community place.
I may have to start all over with just one person, and a new one at that. I am awaiting news. Thanks for your concern. I have had a lot of losses lately...I really want at least one stable thing in my life!
