black-balled-venting

I have applied for a job as a substitute school nurse. If anyone read my extremely long post,I am charging my former employer with harrassment. They are a huge organization. I never heard from the sub service re subbing and I know for a fact school nurse subs are hard to come by. I think I am being black-balled because my former employer implied that I am mentally ill. terrics

can you contact the sub service and say that you wanted to check whether they had your contact details correct?

that you haven't heard anything from them...
and that you thought that subs were hard to find...
and see what they have to say?

if they hem and haw then i guess thats a fairly good indicator...
but it might just turn out that they did mess up your contact details
or that subs are suddenly easy to find
or something...

dunno
might be worth a try.

That sounds really really frustrating and upsetting. I wish I had some suggestions for you. I wish that mental illness did not carry a stigma in our society.

sigh

there MUST be more education about mental illness. even that term makes me think of "one flew over the cookoo's nest" or some relative kept in the attic.
people are always scared of what they don't know.
i wish each place of employment had to watch regulation video or attend mini conference on MI to understand at least a little, don't they do that for like sexual harrassment or confidentiality issues? why not MI. it's SO much more common than most people know.
