On a lighter note

Posted by Dinah on July 20, 2005, at 20:04:48

After spending an entire session raging and wailing about how I didn't want to grow up and lose him, as it was time to leave I threw out a half-apology

"Even though I know it doesn't look very much right now like I'm growing up."

He laughed and laughed all through writing my receipt. Tension release?

It felt kind of good.

I guess sometimes I still don't understand me at all.

You know the problem with you Dinah? You are trying to be very good. Don't be. It is not worth it. Atleast be a little bit of a jerk. Life is much better for jerks.

I don't want to be a jerk.

I don't like jerks. How awful to be stuck with one twentyfour hours a day.

You might be happier.. And not at the mercy of others. Isn't that an incentive? And people will take you seriously. Not brush you off like a dirt in the road.

Nobody brushes me off like dirt in the wind. Believe me.

And how could I be happy living with a jerk?

Try it for a month. You will really appreicate it.. Stop being so nice, so accommodating, so careful with words and trying not to hurt anyone etc.

No. Thank you. (nm) » pinkeye

Hi Dinah,

I don't understand me at all. Most of the time I can't stand myself at all, either. LOL.

I take Dinah very seriously and I would never brush her off in the road ... in fact, I would wait and let her go ahead of me.

Dinah - glad to hear your session ended with laughter, that sound always warms the heart whenever it's heard. Sorry about the loss of "Dinah". Thinking of you,

Annierose

Sorry - I was projecting. (nm) » Dinah

I like when my T laughs too.

Not sure why.

But I like it a lot.
