Hi everyone.
Just wanted to touch base since I haven't been here much. I'm working on spending more quality time with hubby, which is paying off, but it cuts down on my online time. Also, I'm finding myself a bit stirred up more since I've started going twice a week. So I read posts and just sometimes have nothing to say--no energy.
So I'll probably pop in now and then. I didn't want anyone to feel slighted if I reply to one thread and not others. And I'm okay, just busy.
Take care.

(((gg))),
You're missed around here, but I'm glad you're making yourself and your relationship with your hubby a priority.
Of course, whenever you're ready to post some more, we'll be here.
Big hugs,
Laurie

It's really nice of you to just pop in and let us know how you are. I'm glad the time spent with hubby is paying off. I guess you'll have to invest in one of those talking programs that types for you. It might be faster.
Don't be a stranger. We need an "Open" party soon.

Glad to hear you are doing okay, and you are spending more time with your husband.
AND ... that you are enjoying (maybe that's not the right adjective) going twice a week. It's a different experience. And once you get used to that type of support/work, it's hard to cut back.

hey (((((gg))))))
thank you for letting us know. please take care of yourself.
my T said that in the Freud days he believed in seeing people 5 times a week. it cuts out all the 'niceties' and daily grind stuff. you sooner get to the meat of issues.
i hope this works for you and isn't too painful a process.
let me know if there's anything i can do.

If I may jump in (as a newbie)... the best thing I found about twice a week is that I don't feel guilty having "fluff" sessions. Often my Monday session is fluffy and my Thursday session is meaty (weird way of describing them but oh well). And kudos on quality time with hubby, I wish I had that luxury but we have a toddler! (quality time? what's that?)

Wow - I can only begin to imagine. I found once a week completely exhausting. I imagine twice a week is probably more than twice as involving.

Well... We miss you of course, but I'm glad that things are better between you and your husband.
:-)
I know what you mean about finding it hard to respond to posts sometimes.
Thanks for letting us know.

I'm so happy for you that spending quality time with hubby is paying off! That's a good sign.
I spent some time (not sure about quality) with mine last week and ended up treating him like he treats us. He was outraged!! I enjoyed pointing out the similarity.
Of course, he is a very good man, and an excellent provider.
Twice a week therapy is a completely different experience isn't it? I don't think it can be understood without having done it. And three times a week was incredible, but of course I can't afford that for long. (I can't afford twice a week if I'm to be honest.)

Hi guys,
Thanks everyone for understanding and for wishing me the best.Twice a week is a different animal, but I like it.
So far so good with hubby. And I've even shoveled out my office so I can get some real work done on the D-word. So I'll still be popping in and out, posting here and there for probably at least a month.
Y'all know where to find me...
Take care,
gg
