A T Funny!!!

Posted by LittleGirlLost on June 29, 2005, at 10:20:35

This is Funny! (to me anyway)

Let me start off by saying that I did have the extra session with my T last night. I wrote here that I was thinking about it so that I could try to continue with where I was last week without having to say anything "much" when I see her on Thursday because she will be going away the following week. I like to keep it light before she goes away. So I guess I did okay last night, though I also regret not saying more since it would have felt safer to do it then knowing I was going back in 2 days. :::sigh:::

Okay, here is the funny part!
We sat down and (of course I wasn't even looking at her), but she chuckled while noticing her zipper was open and quick pulled it up! LOL Of course I then made sure I really didn't look at her! I guess it was funny to me because she is so "normal", I mean that can happen to anyone, right? If it were me, oh, I'd be sooooo embarrassed in front of her. It would bother me all session, and I'd be embarrassed going back. But she was just so... normal! God, I wish I could be like that!

Today I miss her again. :(

lgl,

That's a good story! I'm sorry you miss her today; I often feel that way after sessions...I feel for you and know where you're coming from...hang in there.

OK, a funny story of my own...my T. had a hip injury that had him walking with one crutch for close to a year. When he finally got rid of the crutch, I noticed he was carrying two soft-sided bags to the office, both slung over his shoulder. In session, he mentioned his physical therapy, and I said, "You shouldn't be carrying two big bags, it can't be good for you!"

And I've never seen him carry two bags again. Now it's just a medium-size backpack. HA!

Hahaa that was funny! I guess T's can be funny people too! (I'd just be embarrassed!... social anxiety?)

Thank you also for understanding my other feelings.
