My insurance company denied my claim. Said I hadn't made any progress in the past year (balogna!).
So I appealed. I wrote a letter talking about my improvements, and spelling out what we were working on, what my goals were etc. They called my pdoc and my therapist.
And they gave me 8 more sessions! (sort of 1/week, which is much better than the 1/month they were talking about). I'll still go 3/week - I'm not going to stop the momentum we have going now. Hopefully we can get another 8, and I'm changing insurance July 1, so that should take me through to then.
It would be better if they would pay 3/week, but I'll take what I can get!

Good for you, falls! I'm going to stop calling you the Ice Cream Queen and change it to the Insurance Queen.
Hmm, maybe not. Ice cream is so much more fun ;)!
Great job with your appeal!
Take care,
Laurie
