Stupid, embarrassing question here but i HAVE to ask.
Do all girls bleed when they loose their virginity? if they didn't...does that mean something?
all my friends did, but me.

The fact that I have absolutely no recollection of bleeding leads me to believe that if I did bleed, it was pretty insignificant.
...or it could just be further proof of my advancing age. (-;

I think all girls are different. Not all girls bleed, I didn't. I may be wrong here, I am reading between the lines, but are you thinking that you weren't a virgin when you had your first experience, like maybe you were abused and don't remember. I am sorry if I am misreading. My first sexual experience there was no blood but it did hurt a bit. But then again, I was with another vigin, and we both didn't know what we were doing. I think if you were with an experienced person, they may have done things that would make it a better experience for you. Does this make any sense? I am comfused. lol

We are here for you when you are ready, if you want to talk about it. Hugs to you. I think you are ready to heal yourself, at least you willing to maybe open those memories so you can heal. That is a big step, 1st by asking us, and 2nd for admitting there may be something there . You are growing, you should be proud of yourself!

No, they absolutely do not. That was a source of a lot of trouble years ago when proof of virginity was a big deal. But if you were athletic, rode horses, or did anything that might have stretched or tore your hymen, there's every possibility you may not have bled.

No, not everyone bleeds. And an absence of blood doesn't necessarily signify abuse in childhood. Women are all constructed differently and the hymen (a membrane covering the vagina) can tear, causing bleeding in some women. But in other women the hymen doesn't tear. It can stretch, though. And some women don't have a hymen; it's completely normal to have no hymen. Sometimes the hymen tears or stretches during childhood (when we do things like riding a bike) and there can be bleeding at the time, but not necessarily.
My two cents about virginity: it's a state of mind, not a bodily reality. I think sex is about much more than a penis in a vagina, so I tend to think that virginity is what we make of it.
Hope that helps some.

I didn't bleed. I'd been using tampons for a while and my first lover wasn't very big.

I think I lost my virginity while horse riding.
Came down hard after a jump.
Ouch.
