Therapy Buzz

Posted by Emily Elizabeth on March 24, 2005, at 23:13:58

Do you know what I mean? I went to therapy today and when I left, I just felt so safe and okay with myself and my life. It's like some sort of buzz or high or something.

Alas, the feeling leaves all too quickly. Anyone have any tips for keeping it around?

The tip for keeping it around is to actually develop these feelings for yourself :-) instead of seeking an artifical boost from therapy.

Oh, I love the leftover good feelings from a good session. I seem to be able to retain them for three or four days, at which time it's another session. But the sessions after a great one are usually bad, and those feelings also hang around three or four days.
