Shoot, I think I just hung myself.
Sent off the application, the attachments.. and discovered upon tryin to send the resume out again that it hadn't been saved in .rtf properly, the ending was .wps.rtf ... so it couldn't be opened at the other end. How did this happen? I have to find out, obviously. Had to go in and manually change the name the name of the doc to get system to accept .rtf (what's THAT all about, what on earth happened? This doesn't sound good, it sounds wormy! AND now the system is saving everything .rtf.rtf) then re-send it to this woman's email address, NOT part of the program, folks, and on top of THAT I say Application and application. First rule of punctuation, folks, know when to capitalize!!!!
Calm down, I have to absolutely HAVE to calm down. Being on Babble isn't helping me, I'm getting sloppy.
Hopefully the actual resume and cover letter will dispel the damage a bit.

you'll have to check with our computer-knowledgeable folks, but I know that sometimes when I "save as" and add the .rtf or .doc, etc, I find that the system had already planned on doing that FOR me, thus it was on there twice...
Now I double check my file names before sending them as email attachments...And for some reason, my work email sends them as is every time, but my home email system sometimes changes the .type to something IT finds compatible, instead of the type I had created...
I feel your pain!
