that could be fulfilled without hurting anybody, I'd come back as Shania Twain. Her music makes me happy, she just seems so happy. I want her to be me. She must be already, to some extent, I mean, I must have what she's got somewhere inside because her music resonanates with me ... love her musicians too.

You don't need to come back as Shania- your spirit resonates with me just as it is.

It feels so good to hear your approbations, Sunny. Why're you so good to me? I wish you were my T.... I haven't been able to totally break free, yet. I really need a fix of his face, so so so terribly, it's all I can think about today.

You don't seem to see how wonderful you are! I'm not being "good to you"- I'm merely reflecting your strength of character and spiritual goodness right back to you.
It's like what I got out of one of justplainjane's posts (janie, dear, please don't be mad if I don't say it exactly right)....
Try to see yourself the way I see you. Pretend that you are listening to your own best friend and go back over what you've written (said, done, etc.). What advice would you offer me if I had written/felt/said/done the things that you have? jpj's main point, I think, was that we are not as good/kind/forgiving/understanding/loving to ourselves as we are to others.
Why would I NOT be good to you, as you put it? I happen to think you're terrific!

I have to intermittently do this myself, but it's less and less, because I've pounded it into my head more and more. It's kinda like the "physician, heal thyself" quote: No one can heal us but us. (even though I'm thinkin that physician line was said by some philosopher in sarcasm. been so long i don't remember)
However, we can all be here for one another to lean on, shake up, entertain, disgust (another entertainment), encourage, remind that we are not truly alone socially...
silent but great strides for both of you.

We are a body of water; where an oar is dipped and the surface broken, the other waters rush to fill it.
you darlings all help me, and I try to help you.
But, mainly what are helping WITH is encouragement to help ourselves.
(jeez, I re-wrote that four times and it didn't come out exactly as I pictured it- yeah, I suffer from depression and am a conceptual thinker... too bad most therapy is in spoken/written linear form...)
Love you both,
Sunny10
