Unacceptable Behavior

Posted by fires on January 6, 2005, at 21:07:32

I was misdiagnosed with somatoform disorder at a U. Outpatient Clinic. I've tried to contact the MDs (Residents) supervisor to let him know. He hasn't replied to my email, or my registered letter. (I still might hear from him, since the letter wasn't sent too long ago).

I phoned the U. Med. Ctr., and they are mailing me a complaint form. I will follow through.

That's all.

That is really frustrating. This sort of happened to me a couple of years ago when I had a few tests to rule some things out and everything came back fine. I still had the symptoms however, and tried to talk to my Doctor for weeks about what our next steps should be. Never a reply. Very unprofessional.
