Yesterday in the mail I got a nice surprise. A Christmas card from my T! It had an angel on it and she had written something like: "Wishing you and your family - the baby too! - a wonderful holiday season, with peace and joy. - warmly, T"
I thought it was really sweet. It made me feel like I'm a real person in her life. I've never gotten a card from a T before. What do you guys think? Good idea or bad idea for her?

That's so nice! I am jealous!! I see nothing wrong with it as long as it's kept very neutral. I think its important that we know T's are people too, as much as I hate to admit it. It seems like her message was very warm but not overly personal or friendly. I say a good move for your T! That's too cool! Now I am going to be checking everyday for a card from my T!! Wishful thinking :)

that was such a nice gesture! i sent my T a card last year and he said that he really appreciated it, but that he didn't send out cards. yeah, as long as the message wasn't overly personal i think that it was a very nice thing to do!

Judging from your response to it it seems like a very nice thing to have done, indeed :-)

It sounds very nice of her. I imagine they have to be careful because not everyone celebrates Christmas. But for those clients who do, it'd be a nice bonding gesture that didn't bring too many expectations along with it.
