Please explain?

Posted by messadivoce on November 28, 2004, at 1:47:51

Just a few general questions...what does "possible trigger" indicate?

Also, what do SI and NAMII stand for? Any other common acronyms I should know?

I am SO GLAD I found babble!!!

I'm so glad I found babble, too. People here understand me and care about me, hard to accept, but I'm glad I'm here.

Possible trigger gives posters a heads up that the subject is a delicate one, and may trigger a painful reaction.

SI- self injure

I have no idea what NAMII is, I don't think I've ever run across it. Hope someone else knows.

pdoc= psychiatrist
T= therapist
CSA= childhood sexual abuse

Those tripped me up at first, if I think of any others, I'll post them.

NAMI is the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (www.nami.org) - is that what you meant?
