I think a hoard of people are treating me for NPD

Posted by lostforwards on November 9, 2004, at 10:38:49

The hoard of people consists of family, doctors, friends, even a group that seems to have been gang stalking me since may.

A lot of weird stuff's happened. Here are few examples: my doctor. she throws into a conversation very quickly "we'll have sex together". the councellor, a man, says very very quickly to me "women are all a bunch of whores" or something along those lines.

In addition the gang stalkers would follow me around and would often do street theatre or set up situations. They'd be mostly men with their hands in their pockets walking really really slow.

I also got some weird stuff from the another doctor I saw, he'd do stuff like hold a pencil between his legs and have it pointing at a nurses ass. Numerous other sexual innuendos were made.

Another one of my friends started insulting me really really fast, and then acting like he said nothing.

There's a whole lot more ( it's been months now )What's going on!!?

Lost,

Are you currently on any medication? Do you believe you have NPD?

I'm on medication for bipolar. It's fully under control. I did have a paranoia problem that may or may not have had anything to do with the bp. My doctor once asked me if it was egosyntonic or egodystonic. I didn't know what to say and I didn't say anything ( for fear of PD ).

So now: I don't believe I have any PD, but people I know have been acting strange and I don't know why. Sometimes it seems they'll even set up situations where it might seem like they're talking about me, but if I think harder it's about something else. ( and then I'm left wondering whether they really set the situation up )

Some weird stuff has definetely been going on though.

Okay, got it, I'm a little slow on all of the initials for things...

The only thing I can say is that most people do not find anyone else to be worth the time and trouble to "set them up". Takes too much energy- except maybe for A stalker- they hardly ever run in groups.

But you mention a lot of different incidents. Have you talked to the pdoc about these incidents? I have to admit that I am wondering if your meds are letting you down a bit.

I admit to feeling a bit worried about you, medically. It can't be a comforatble feeling for you at all.

I wish I could help you with more than my opinion, sorry.

Would a (((((((lostforwards)))))))))) help???

I agree that I'm concerned about you. Your posts are sounding somewhat illogical to me. For example, why do you think these people are treating you for NPD? The behavior you describe seeing in these people would not be a recognized treatment for NPD. Moreover, you don't mention ever having been diagnosed with NPD before, nor do you describe having any common symptoms of NPD now. Maybe I'm just missing part of the story, but it is sounding a bit as though your conclusions aren't fitting the evidence. I agree that it might be helpful to talk to your pdoc about these things.

I wish you a lot of luck. It sounds pretty tough. Please keep us updated.
