Took med I don't need to be numb (*trigger*)

Posted by Skittles on September 22, 2004, at 21:52:37

Saw my T this afternoon and, as usual, actually feeling things is overwhelming. Had surgery a few months ago and there was a refill remaining on my hydrocodone, so I went and had it filled. It's good stuff, I haven't had to feel all day. Now I find myself wondering how I can make them last longer. Like maybe having one with a beer would have the same result as taking 2 pills. Have tried to throw them away about 100 times but keep getting them back out of the trash. Can't bring myself to flush them or do anything else that would make them unuseable. I'm disappointed in myself, but at least I don't have to feel.

I know what you're going through Skittles, I have done the same thing as you many times, and the end result is always feeling bad about myself. I'm working on it, trying not to numb everything, but it is certainly hard, so I sympathize with you.

Try to hang in there.
