What do you do when you are mad at the world, you don't trust any body, your acting happy and no one can help you? Not even your doctor.

I look myself in the mirror and tell myself I need to get to trusting someone so I can find some happiness in this life.
I decide to make an investment in myself and I try to trust.((((hugs))))

Well, I know what I did decide to do, but I also know that it's easier said than done. I worked on trust. I realized that maybe nobody can be all trustworthy in all areas. But I found people that could be trustworthy in *an* area, and I learned to trust them. It's darn hard work. So now I've got friends who I trust as friends, a husband I trust as a husband, and a therapist I trust as a therapist. So my solution was to build a circle of trust.

Hi Sebastian,
I agree with Dinah that maybe nobody can be trustworthy in all areas. I have friends I trust with somethings, my husband with other stuff and my therapist with most, but not all. I'm working on trust in therapy and it's slow and hard, but I am opening up more and more.
I'm sorry that the world has you down.

I'm working on it. Just started up a conversation with an old highschool buddy.

Its been so hard to trust anyone for so long. I realy couldn't for many years, it was so bad that I thought it was normal.
This is the end of the thread.
