Dear all,
I'm writing on behalf of a gal that I like. She has undergone severe trama and insomnia, was a past drug addict and is now hooked on dormicum at least 5 pills a day. Each pill is 15mg.
I do not know where to turn to for help.
Pls give me all your helpful comments and opinions.

i'm not sure about what you can do, but can you call up your local substance abuse clinics or health and human services? and just ask them if they have any ideas for you to help intervene?
does she *want* help? she could check herself into the local hospital if she does. they'll know how to help her...
good luck...

Do you mean calling the Central Narcotics anti-drug agency or something like that that deals with cocaine, ice and estacy?
or do you mean other agencies? She has the clinic's name and doctor that prescribed her dormicum. The doc only prescribed 15mg per night. She overdosed herself and got herself into a financial mess by getting from 'illegal' suppliers at 2 dollars a pill!!!!

So I suggested I bring her to a psychiatrist. She refused to go to hospital. What is the reason that she refuse to go to hospital?
I'm really at my wits end. But I'll try my best to help her.
To whoever reading this, pls continue this thread to keep my hopes of getting her off the drug alive.

Hi Freedom. I know this place can be a confusing rabbit warren of boards sometimes, but I think you're most likely to get the most responses on the Substance Abuse board, so I redirected your post there.

I hope that helps.
