Forgive me that I can't remember who here suggested that I read "In Session" and "When to say goodbye to you therapist" to help with the throes of termination.
The first was great, really really helpful, as I wrote before. The second, out of print, I found not to be helpful at all. It's dated, not very well written and just not helpful. It was very cheap, though!
Thought I'd let you know. Thanks so much for the info.
I am feeling stronger, my psychiatrist is away for a few weeks and I am finding myself daily using what I have learned in therapy.
Next visit I intend to set a schedule for terminating. I may have to take a barf bag in with me.
Thanks again
shorte
